29 SPØRGSMÅL
I’m currently reading one of my schoolbooks, ’29
Spørgsmål - En moderne retorik til planlægning af kommunikation’ by Jan Krag
Jacobsen, which is actually quite interesting. Obviously, since I’m reading it when
school hasn’t even started yet and I still have vacation. I just wanted to skim through it to get an idea what I’m getting myself into and suddenly I found
myself reading it thoughtfully while taking notes. One of the reasons I find
the book interesting is because it uses many examples and scenarios from the
television- and film world. And that was what I occupied myself
with before. Hey, they even mention David Lynch’s name who is my favourite
director. If that is not enough to get all exited about there is also a chapter
where they mention the narrative model of Aristotle including ‘tragedy’ and ‘comedy’.
First of all I can once again draw the berettermodel {in English?} and afterwards
talk about the myths of Medea and Oedipus. A bit of Lynch and classical studies
doesn't harm anyone! Now I’ll put ‘The Lumineers’ on repeat, drink some tea and
finish this book :-)

HALLÅ IKEA
Like being
at the library, a flea market or my favourite bookstore, I can stay at IKEA for
ages. But I actually didn’t do it today and I didn’t even go crazy as I usually
do. Crazy meaning buying too much stuff I’ll never use. Here are some bits I
bought.

A SHORT VISIT
These past few days has really been enjoyable. My sister and her family, well, my family
as well, was here in Denmark for four days. They live in England which isn’t
far but we are always too busy with work or school to meet up. So it was nice to
finally see them again and catch up! We talked, laughed and saw some beautiful attractions.

WORKING OUT
I’m giving a lot of second chances lately. This
time I’ve decided to get fit again. It’s always a good idea to exercise and
since I got my acceptance letter I finally gave it go. You see, when I was in
gymnasiet I was constantly tired. Zero energy, drained and completely worn out.
I almost had headaches every day because I was sitting down all day, taking
notes, concentrating, reading, doing homework and not eating much. I've learned my lesson. This time I’ll
remember to eat more regularly. I’ll bring loads of delicious snacks with me all the time. When
I come home from school I’ll work out before doing any school assignments. It doesn’t
mean I have to work out for an hour or more everyday. Simple exercises can do
the drill. If I just can get some movement every day that would be cool. And I got
myself a personal trainer - my boyfriend! He’s a tiny bit tough on me but it
keeps me motivated. We live just next to Bagsværd Stadium so it's perfect. Today we went jogging, running and rope
skipping. I’m definitely out of shape but I’ll be on track again!

BANANA SEAT
I decided to go for a ride on my bicycle today.
I know! Me? Ride a bike?! Those who know me, they know one of the things that can get me
anxious and panicky is to ride a bike. For God’s sake, I cried my balls out when my dad forced me to ride my bike when I was younger. The last time I sat
on my saddle, an old woman drove into me. With her car. That wasn’t fun at all.
It happened in year 2011. Since then I haven’t touched my lowrider. You see, I just
don’t cope well on traffic. But the past few days I suddenly wanted to ride my
bike again. Today I did it! I decided to go for a ride to my new school so I
could see how far it was from home. It wasn’t that bad. Maybe riding my bike to school should be my new
thing. Maybe.

ACCEPTANCE LETTER
I didn’t get my acceptance letter the day
before yesterday like everyone else did. Everything is fine though. I called
the academy yesterday and they said that I got accepted and if I don’t get my
letter today I should call them back again. I got my acceptance letter today so
all is good! I have confirmed the institution that I want the spot so now it's
official. I’m looking forward to begin studying again. I'll be studying Multimedia Design in Copenhagen Business Academy.
